5 Minute Meditation

I'm trying something new.

Emboldened and inspired by Michael Singer’s books, I have started to meditate for 5 minutes whenever I feel myself procrastinating over of a challenging piece of work.

It’s just a couple of times a day, and I simply sit were I am, with my eyes closed, and meditate as a way to clear my mind of all of the noise. When the 5 minute timer stops - I immediately begin the work I’ve been procrastinating over.

And it seems to be working. I don’t know if it’s just the novelty, or whether it’s a practice that will last, but right now it’s really working.

After all - if you want things to be different, sometimes you have to do things differently…
