Are we nearly there yet...?

Ask me how long it takes to get from Loughborough to London by train and I’ll tell you 1 hour and 18 minutes.

Ask Google and it will tell you it’s at least 2 hours 10 minutes because there’s a couple of buses and some walking needed at either end of the 1 hour and 18 minute train journey.

When we set out on a goal we seem to think that it’s just a matter of going from A to B, and quickly get frustrated when things start taking longer than we thought - turns out there’s nothing wrong with the goal that some research and a little bit of realism won’t easily fix…
