Because You Can...

Back in 2003, had I asked myself if I would ever get the top job in the company I worked for, I would have said no, because my boss told me I lacked some of the most critical skills. 

In 2008, could I have imagined completing an Ironman triathlon ? No. I was overweight and got out of breath walking to the sandwich shop at lunchtime. 

At any time in the first 18 years of my corporate career did I think I would ever build my own business ? Again, no. As a corporate man through and through, I lacked the skills and the desire. 

I did all three.
