Choose Your Weapon...
When something ‘stressful’ occurs, our choice of thought is indeed a weapon.
We can choose the negative thought, the one that reinforces how we are put upon, how we are right and they are wrong, and we can use that thought to attack - to lash out in the heat of the moment and say something that cannot be unsaid.
Or we can choose the positive thought, the one where acknowledge OUR part in the situation, the one where we are BOTH right and BOTH wrong, and we can use that thought to defend - to defend what is good, to defend the past and the future.
So when you choose your weapon, be careful which end you hold, because one of them does more harm than the other…
