Could It Be Better...?

‘Yes, but could it be better…?’

Now there’s a question.

And to be honest, I’m struggling to think of a scenario where the answer is ‘no’.

But knowing it could be better doesn’t mean that we can’t love and enjoy it for what it is now.

F. Scott Fitzgerald said that “the test of a first-rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposed ideas in the mind at the same time.”

Maybe that’s true. And maybe the secret of a contented life is being comfortable with where and who we are now, but knowing that we could be even more too…
