Days...
“Today is a good day”.
“I’m having a bad day”.
We tend to look at each day in isolated, absolute terms - good, bad, hard, fun, long or slow - and once, I even calculated that a single bad day represents just 0.003% of a 90 year life, as a way to make myself feel better after a particularly bad day.
But reducing our days to absolutes and pure numbers ignores the beauty and contribution that each one makes to our life as a whole. Each day is just a single note in the symphony of life, flowing beautifully from the days that came before it, and setting the tone for the days still to come….
