Deadlines...

Deadlines can :
- Make us responsible.
- Give us focus.
- Allow others to do their work.

Deadlines can also:
- Add unnecessary stress.
- Make when more important than why.
- Prioritise completion over creativity.

We don’t always get to choose whether the thing we have to do has a deadline, but if we do, perhaps we need to ask ourselves ‘will a deadline make me work better, or will it stop me doing better work…?’
