Doing The Damn Work...
I like to think I have well-defined, purposeful goals, even if they need tweaking every now and then. I like to think I am relatively focused, work hard and get the important work done, even though some days I’m all over the place. I have read plenty of books about personal productivity and performance, and I am learning new ways to improve that performance all of the time. And I know that it is better to focus on effectiveness rather than busy work.
But some days, like today, you just need to write a long list of all of the stuff that just needs sorting, and then start at the top and do the damn work….
