Doing the things we don't like...
I prefer to read my books the traditional way, rather than on a screen or as an audiobook, but the other day I downloaded one because I wanted to start reading it straight away. It met the need - I was able to start reading (and getting benefit) immediately, but the further I progress, the more I remember why I don’t like the format.
This isn’t a criticism of electronic or audiobooks - we’re all different, and I know that for many people they are by far the best solution - but more a reflection on the fact that sometimes it’s worth doing the things we say we don’t like, just to see if anything has changed, or to make sure that our reasoning still holds true…
