Energy vs Experience...

When I started out in my career, I made up for my lack of experience with effort and energy - back then, longer hours and greater enthusiasm always seemed available at the drop of a hat.

Now that I’m (much) older, my energy is noticeably reduced, but I do have experience by the bucketload - some good, some bad, but all valuable.

I really don’t think that success depends on having either more experience or more energy, but I do think it helps to recognise how much we have of each right now, and applying them accordingly….
