Family Understands...

Parents understand when we’re really busy at work and can’t phone or visit as much as we’d like. Spouses and partners take up the slack when stuff going on at work means that we just don’t have bandwidth. Children say ‘OK’ when something ‘important’ comes up and we won’t be able to do that thing that we said we would do. Our extended family is as busy as we are with their own stuff, so it’s no-one’s fault that we haven’t caught up in ages.
