I don’t know about you, but this is a rule that applies to so many things in my life - work, relationships, parenting - you name it and I can find an example of when I made a complete hash of doing something for the first time. Even something I’m now so very proud of, like these William Hannah notebooks, started out as a glue covered, leatherette and cardboard prototype that wouldn’t have looked out of place in a kindergarten class. So give it a try, and if it turns out badly, do better next time. The important thing is not how our first attempt turns out, but that we made that first attempt at all…
