For The Opportunities Still To Come...
Back when I used to train for Triathlons, my biggest improvements always came in the week after a race. The logic was simple - even though I thought I was training at my highest level before the race, the adrenaline of competition helped me to run, cycle or swim faster than I did in training, helping me to realise that I was capable of more, which spurred-on my post-race training efforts.
It’s the same with the work we do - we may think we lack the skills or experience for that big sale, project, presentation or goal, but when we ignore the voice and get it done, we raise the level of what we KNOW we can do in the opportunities still to come…
