If my plan was to write this page by 8:30am and I finished at 9:00am, is it a failure ?
If I want to get 7 things done today, and I only do 6, has it been an unproductive day ?
If my goal for my business was to sell X in the first two years and it took four, should I have closed down my business in year three ?
If there was something really important resting on the outcome then the answer might be ‘it depends’ - but if we’ve just taken longer to do something than we wanted, then it’s probably better to celebrate what we did, rather then when it got done…
