Getting from here to there...



There’s an old joke about a motorist, lost in the middle of nowhere, who asks a wily old local for directions, only to be told “Well if I was you, I wouldn’t be starting from here”.

And that’s the problem we face when we want to achieve our big, wonderful, ultimate goal (or any of the smaller goals we might set along the way) - we can’t start from where we want to, we have to start from here.

So we have a choice - abandon the goal because we cant start with a blank sheet of paper, or use that blank sheet of paper to work out a plan of all the hard work we need to do to get to where we want to be…
