Good Ideas...

I have forgotten more good ideas than I have acted upon. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not some amazing idea generator - I have acted upon and forgotten even more bad ideas - it’s just that I know that I have lost some of my great ideas forever.

I used to think that if an idea was important enough I would remember it later or it would come around again if I needed it, but in reality, ideas have a half-life - unless we take action while they are new, we risk losing them forever.

I try to write down or capture all of my good ideas now - it doesn’t make them any better, but it does keep the better ones alive until I’m ready for them….
