Greater Happiness To Come...

Jay Shetty says that ”happiness comes when we are learning, progressing and achieving”, which explains why I felt so unhappy towards the end of my corporate career - after 20 years there was little new to learn, the only progression was to places I didn’t want to go, and I rarely felt any sense of achievement.

It also explains why I am happier now - I learn something new most weeks, I can definitely see how far I have come since I began, and it’s a journey full of feedback and milestones.

There is always more to learn, further to progress, and greater things to achieve - and greater happiness to come…
