Growth in progress...

Back in the days of Windows 3.1/95/NT, software updates were a pain - the update bar would hit 50% in seconds, and then slow to a snail’s pace, leaving us wondering when (or even if) it would ever finish.

It’s the same with our personal growth - whizzing along in our 20’s and 30’s, before slowing to a crawl as we hit middle age, looking like it’s crashed even though the hard disk light is flashing away like mad.

But if those update bars taught us anything it was that slow progress, even 1%, is still progress - at some point everything will click into place and our progress will suddenly start growing quickly again…
