History Repeating Itself...

The Stoics believed that history repeats itself - that living 40 years was the same as living 1,000, because the same things happened over and over again.

Now obviously the pace of change has increased a bit since then, and even 15 years would take us back to a time before the smartphones in our pockets, but if we look closely we can still see history repeating itself in ever decreasing cycles.

And maybe that’s a positive.

Maybe every time history repeats itself, we get another chance to make things better before history comes around again….
