I am finally better than someone…

Now this might sound a little arrogant, but after years of comparing myself and my performance to others, I have finally found someone I am better than.

I know I am smarter, because I read self-improvement books every single day and he never read a single book.

I know that I am fitter and lighter than him because I walk every day, and I eat much healthier food than him.

I know I am more successful than him because I have built a business from scratch, and he never achieved that.

And I know that I am much happier than him, because I have read his personal journal.

In fact, he has only one advantage over me, and that is that he a few years younger (and that doesn’t bother me).

Yes, I am finally better than the only person I ever wanted to be better than, and that person is… me.
