Is the answer staring you in the face...?

On the wall in front of my desk is a big sheet of paper covered in multi-coloured Post It notes. Each note represents a (fairly big) task to improve or grow my business. There is a rough order to the tasks, and there are also a few notes with what I think are good ideas mixed in there too.

I’ve been (slowly) working my way through those notes for well over a year, and then yesterday, after an interesting conversation and an afternoon of semi-tangential research, I suddenly saw something I hadn’t seen before - a possible long-term direction for the business that I’ll admit has got me more than a little excited…

Sometimes the answer that you didn’t even know you were looking for is staring you in the face - it might take you a while to see it, but eventually it’s going to shine through…
