Level Three Service...

Coaches are taught that there are three levels of listening, but it occurred to me that there might be three levels of service too.

Level One is serving others solely to gain benefit for yourself. Level Two is serving others in repayment for them serving you, and Level Three service is when we seek to serve others with no expectation or desire for repayment.

We’re all human, and living a life of pure service to others is incredibly hard (and incredibly rare), but that shouldn’t stop us from trying to give a little more Level Three Service every now and then….
