Making Mistakes...

Today I'm going to make a mistake. In fact I’ll probably make more than one. It might be something as small as writing the wrong date on a page, or it could be something bigger. It could be a mistake made by a momentary lack of concentration, and it might be a mistake I don’t realise I’ve made until some time down the line.

I’ve lost count of the mistakes I’ve made across my working life, but I do know I’ve made some absolute doozies and I’m still here and I’m still moving forward.

Sure, it would be better if we could avoid making mistakes in the first place, but since we’re human that’s pretty unlikely, so the knack, I think, is to accept that we’re going to make them, and know that in the end we’ll cope just fine…
