Motivation...
Motivation is a fickle thing - today we can be full of enthusiasm to move forward on a goal, but tomorrow we can be tired and flat, and do little more than the basics - but when we look at the things that we are able to do consistently, we often find a different kind of energy is moving us forward.
For me, trying to lose weight because I thought I ‘should’ never lasted long, but realising that being overweight was limiting the number of years I have left? That gave me a much deeper motive, a more compelling ‘why’, to change my ways.
External motivation come and goes, but when our internal motives are powerful enough, we unlock the strength we need to make changes that last…
