No Magic Bullet...

Sometimes things can get really busy - not for bad reasons, or because we’ve done anything wrong, but just because there’s a lot to do, or we’ve been a bit more successful than we expected.

“A good problem to have”, as an old boss of mine used to say.

At times like these, we can find ourselves hoping for some magic bullet - a miracle answer or keystone task that will make everything fall into place.

There’s no harm in having a quick look, but we rarely find one.

In fact, the best way forward, and the one that has worked so many times before, is to just work through the tasks, one by one, doing the best job we can, until we start to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

It may not be easy, but it will be really satisfying when we’re done…
