One Or Zero...

One Or Zero...
A handwritten page inside an open notebook

Back when I was learning about computers at school (yes kids, they did have computers back then), we were taught that everything was ultimately binary - whatever we did, the computer turned it into a one or a zero, an on or off, a yes or no…

As our lives have become more digital, almost everything we do now seems to need to be a one or a zero - we like it or we don’t, we click or we don’t, we are right and they are wrong…

I suppose that’s why I like writing - pen and paper help me to find clarity, but they also don’t mind if the answer is black, white, grey or orange…
