Our Ability To Adapt...
I was reading a BBC article yesterday about how supermarkets will increase the speed and amount of product they can bring to the shelves. Interestingly, it is not about making more of everything, it’s about making less of some things so that they can make more of others - "We need to make food manufacture as efficient as possible - it makes no sense to pause to change packet sizes or change from one type of pasta to another. We have 20 different sizes and styles of pasta, we are moving that to six."
One of our greatest strengths is our ability to adapt, and we should never let what we can’t do get in the way of what we can…
