Do you ever have the feeling that you are on the cusp of a breakthrough - a decision, realisation or change that has been slowly building in the background, and is about ready happen.
I’m having one of those feelings right now about how I need to structure my working days.
I have realised that my work seems to fall into 3 main categories :
Dailies - stuff that I do every day that is essential for long-term cumulative/compound improvement
Important - Bigger tasks & projects that move my business forward
Necessities - Admin and operational tasks that are essential to keep my business running.
and that when I am planning each day, I need to be mindful of making enough space for all three, and avoiding things that don’t fit into one of the categories.
It’s hardly rocket science I know, but somehow it does feel like I’m on the edge of something really important for me…
