As a teenager I had a paper round, and I spent my first wages on a Walkman (if you’re under 25, google it) and I didn’t have a lot of music on cassette (again, google it) so I listened to ‘Asia’ by Asia on permanent repeat by flipping the tape at the end of each side (god I’m old).
I must have heard that album over 400 times, and even though it was nearly 40 years ago, my air drums are note perfect as I listen now*.
Repeat something enough times and it’s pretty much set for life. Use that power wisely and you can program yourself for great success - use it badly and you’ll be playing the same old song for the next 40 years….
* As I stream an album from 1982 from Spotify on my laptop, and listen on my Beats wireless headphones. Good luck explaining that to my 15 year old self…
