Pleasure in the job...

I love what I do with William Hannah, so I enjoy wrapping the 2,397th paper order just as much as I did the first, but when I used to sweep a warehouse floor as my teenage part-time job, I still did the very best job I could because I loved seeing a clean warehouse at the end of my shift.

My older self has no passion for gardening, but when I mow the lawn, I do it properly because I love seeing a neat and tidy lawn when I’m done.

Putting perfection in the job is easy when there’s pleasure in the work, but putting perfection in the work can bring plenty of pleasure to the job too…
