Putting In The Work....
In this world of instant gratification, putting in the hard, honourable work, day after day with no immediate, visible results holds little attraction. But achievement takes time; small, incremental improvements every day, hours and hours of study and practice, countless good deeds and actions - these are the things that build mastery, strength and long-lasting relationships.
Can it be frustrating, putting in the effort when everyone else seems to be letting it slide ? Undoubtedly.
Is it worth it in the long-term to have the skills and experience that hard work brings ? Absolutely.
