I really believe in the power of daily habits - small activities done every day that lead to massive growth and improvement over time. I have also learnt that when I do my daily habits first thing in the morning, the easier they are and the greater impact they have - the ideas I read early morning with a coffee stick around a lot longer than ones read in the evening.

But sometimes there are things - exceptional workloads, promises made and important family matters for example - that need to take priority, not replacing my habits, but pushing them later into the day. I suppose you could call it ‘rigid flexibility’ - knowing that sometimes, getting everything done is more important than the order it’s done…
