Small Thinking...
When I was starting out on my life and career I made lots of bold decisions, confident that if it didn’t work out, I could always try something else. Over the years, as I became more ‘successful’, I took fewer and fewer risks until eventually, every decision seemed to be about protecting the status quo. I needed a bold decision to escape that life, but these days I worry that history is starting to repeat itself, and as my business grows, my appetite for risk shrinks…
As William Arthur Ward says, “Nothing limits achievement like small thinking”, but achievement can lead to small thinking too, and whilst not every decision we make has to be big and bold, they don’t all have to be small and safe either…
