Starting From Scratch...

It's too easy to take what we’ve done before (or even what others have done) as our starting point, and ask “how can I make this better ?”

I’ve been doing that for months with one of my ideas, and I’ve gotten nowhere, and then today I asked myself “what would it look like if I started from scratch ?”

And then the breakthrough happened.

It’s true that there’s no point in reinventing the wheel, but that assumes that we actually needed a wheel in the first place…
