The Genius of AND...

The problem with personal growth is that it can introduce a contradiction - we learn the importance of knowing that ‘I am enough’ whilst simultaneously realising that we could always learn more and do better.

So which is it ? Are we enough OR could we be better ?

Fortunately, Jim Collins gives us a clue when he says that great companies “reject the tyranny of the ‘OR’ and embrace the genius of the ‘AND’.”

And so, with a change of word (and a little bit of re-arranging) personal growth solves its own contradiction.

Yes, we are enough AND yes, we could be better…
