Looking For Happiness...

On a cloudy day, the sun is still shining - we just can’t see it behind the dense formations of water droplets in the sky. When I close my eyes I can’t see the things on my desk, but my notebooks, keyboard and coffee cup are still there. Closing a book doesn’t make the words disappear from the pages - the words, and the wisdom they hold, are still there, waiting patiently for our attention to return.

We can look for happiness by trying to shine a light, but sometimes we just need to let our eyes adjust to to the light that’s already there…
