The next thing we need to learn...

I have been running my own business for around five and a half years now, and every time we’ve experienced a period of growth, I have quickly realised that I’m lacking in certain skills - this time, for example, I’ve discovered that I’m lacking in forecasting systems and experience, and I know that the seat of my pants will wear pretty thin until I fix that lack.

And I think that’s always the way - that the next level of anything, be it business, career or life, might have been built on what we already knew, but it will quickly teach us what we don’t, and what we need to learn…
