The Power of Morning Routine...
The other morning I woke up feeling pretty flat - not surprising really, for me or anyone else, given the stuff we are having to process at the moment.
But, as habit forces me to do, I went through my early morning routine - make coffee, meditate, quick news/e-mail/social triage, drink coffee while reading/learning for 30 minutes, go for a walk, journal, breakfast, shower - and by the end of it I felt MUCH better.
There are times when our routine can feel like a chore, and there are times when a routine can keep us sane - right now, I think it’s very much the latter…
