There’s nothing wrong with taking the safer option - sometimes it’s realistically the only choice we can make - but the important thing is that we make that choice consciously and deliberately, having fully considered the option for growth, and decided that this time we need to make the safer choice, not through fear, but through necessity.

But safety doesn’t move us forward or develop us, and we can’t live to our full potential by playing it safe. Achieving our goals and dreams only happens when we step outside our comfort zone, when we stop playing it quite so safe…
