There is always a fix...

My early career was in software testing, finding the scenarios that caused the application to fail.

I was very good at it, much to the programmers’ annoyance, but whatever the problem, they would fix it - they changed the code or found a workaround, and next time I tested, the problem was gone.

That job is long-gone, but the lesson remains - when we challenge ourselves to try something new, we might find unexpected problems, but given a little time and thought, there is always a fix…
