There's Always A Fix...

I spent most of my early career working with computers and technology, and back then, things broke A LOT (usually after I had worked on them, but we’ll put that to one side for a moment). What I learned is that there is pretty much always a fix - sometimes it’s as simple as turning it off and on again, other times it needs thorough investigation and a little out-of-the-box thinking - but a fix, workaround or improvement exists nevertheless.

Even though my days in IT are long behind me, the lesson lives on - I still assume that any problem I come up against has a fix, and I just need to find it - and when believing there’s a fix is your starting position, you rarely get proven wrong…
