Three Habits...
There are three habits I have now - meditation, learning and journaling - that I would never have dreamed of building when I lived my corporate life, and honestly, I believe that my life is so much better for them.
And, there are times I wonder what my life would be like now if I could go back and tell my Corporate-self how much better things could become through the practice of these disciplines, but I know he wouldn’t have listened because the fear, stress and paranoia of corporate-life was too strong.
Who knows ? Maybe I needed to go through that stuff to appreciate how different things feel now. Or maybe that’s the sort of thing that old-me would have said rather than admit that now-me might be onto something…
