Tiny Changes...
I spent years curating the digital music collection on my iPod - over 5,000 songs, organised and rated, keeping me sane as I drove hundreds of miles each week in my corporate life.
This morning I realised that I hadn’t listened to that iPod for over 7 years - not because I’ve stopped listening to music, but because streaming has rendered each of those painstakingly curated files obsolete.
We often think of change as some big, or at least noticeable event when in fact, it usually happens in tiny ways that we don’t even notice. Which is great if that change moves us forward, but not so great if it takes us in a direction we never wanted to go…
