Years ago, someone told me that a new habit was formed in 7 days. Lots of learning and reading since then have taught me that’s not really true (figures I’ve read vary between 21 and 100 days) but strangely, because I didn’t know any better at the time, I actually built a few habits in 7 days that lasted me for years. What’s more, I was also confident that I could undo any bad habit in a week too, which always made the attempt seem so much easier.
Knowledge and experience are wonderful teachers, but they are not the only way we get things done….
