What We're Looking For...

Right now I can look at the news and find plenty of things to be pessimistic about, but I can also look at the news and find things to be optimistic about.

I can walk around town and see lots of examples of everyday kindness, and if I tried I could see lots of examples of unthinking meanness too.

I look at my life and see a LOT to be grateful for, yet some days a lot of things bother me too.

We see what we look for.

Perhaps we need to start looking for whatever it is that we want to see…
