What's The Purpose...?
If I wanted to ‘walk for 30 minutes a day’, I could buy a treadmill and use it while watching Netflix.
If I wanted to ‘walk outside for 30 minutes a day’, I could walk around the block a few times.
If I wanted to ‘walk mindfully for 30 minutes a day’, I could walk the footpaths close to our house.
If I wanted to ‘walk to get fitter than I am now’, I could walk a hilly route for at least 30 minutes a day.
I could also just go for a walk…
Not everything has to have a purpose, but when it does, it makes sense to be clear about what that purpose really is….
