Your Perfect Work Day...
One of my favourite coaching questions was to ask the Client to describe their perfect work day - how the day would begin, what they would be working on, and who they would be working with. You see, it’s all too easy to focus on what we don’t like, but it requires much deeper thought to really define what we do.
What’s interesting once we’ve done an exercise like this is that with a subtle change in mindset, and a few small but long-term intentions, we can often make the day that drives us crazy now look a lot more like the day that we really want.
Of course, there are some things that only a complete change can fix, but until then, wouldn’t it be better to attempt a repair….?
