Celebrating To Build Habits...
We’ve all got one. From the inward smile to the big cheesy grin, the happy dance to the hand jive, or my personal favourite, the fist pump with a “Yes !”, we all have a little celebration we do whenever we’ve done something we’re proud of.
Well, it turns out that celebrating our wins - big, small, hard won or straight-forward - is a great way to build new habits or solidify old ones; timing is important - immediately afterwards works best.
So celebrate your wins today, as loud or as animated as you like, and if anybody asks what you’re doing, tell them behavioural science says it’s OK….
