Core Principle 4 - Lean, Fit and Healthy
I have struggled on and off with healthy living for most of my adult life - periods of poor nutrition and weight-gain compared to periods of great fitness levels and a very healthy lifestyle.
But a couple of years ago I realised that, as a bloke in his early 50’s, if I wanted to have any chance of maintaining the energy needed to achieve my goals for the coming years, I need to practice a lifestyle that keeps me lean, fit and healthy.
It is an aim (I sometimes miss the target completely), and I do want to enjoy my life as much as I can, but having this Core Principle as a proactive intention keeps me on the straight-and-narrow enough to keep my other goals on track...
