Doing the right thing, fulfilling our potential, or sometimes just making it through the day, require us to overcome some fear or other - be it fear of failure, the fear of not....enough, or even the fear of success.
But, as Nelson Mandela famously said,
“I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.”
In a world that increasingly tries to make us feel fearful, being courageous is one of the hardest skills to practice, but we need to keep persevering, because often it’s the skill we most need….
